In 1965, Srila Prabhupada embarked on a historic journey to the United States aboard the Jaladuta. He carried with him a small number of books, personal belongings, and an unwavering determination to share the teachings of Lord Sri Krishna.
After arriving in Boston and then traveling to New York, he began his mission with very limited resources. Through his faith, perseverance, and dedication to his spiritual master's instruction, he gradually attracted people to the path of Krishna consciousness.
